Who we are

Turtle Hill Contracting LLC - Residential and Commercial General Contractors

We are a multifaceted company focused on Sustainable Commerical Roofing Applications (TPO, PVC). We mainly do new construction and are involved with projects across the state of North Carolina. We believe that the future of commercial roofing lies with these two products and specifically in high reflectivity of sunlight that these systems provide. This paired with R-30 insulation provides a much more effective and efficient thermal envelope which significantly reduces heating and cooling loads and in turn their respective costs.

By multifaceted we mean that Turtle Hill is also a small-scale (SPEC) homebuilder focused on building sustainable and affordable single-family homes in the Triad and High-Country regions. We use 2x6 framed walls with R-21 batt insulation for our wall cavities as well as closed celled spray foam insulation for our attic and inaccessible spaces. These are just the first steps in our homebuilding journey, and we want to ensure that the homes we build will keep energy costs down throughout the year whilst also being affordable for first time home buyers. Our first home is currently under construction just outside of King, NC.

Our founding principle is the idea of S.E.E. - Sustainability & Energy Efficiency. Sustainability is used all too often as a way to greenwash businesses and ideas, but we embody its meaning in all of the work we do. We accurately estimate needed materials and do not waste any leftover construction materials, if there are any. We make sure to promote and install products that will make your commercial building or home much more energy efficient than the current standard.

Turtle Hill Contracting is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina and has been in business since 2022.
